California dreaming of Rodéo.

The famously glam Fall/Winter 2019 Collection is coming soon…

When you think of Rodéo Drive in Beverly Hills, what comes to mind? Next-level chic. Gorgeous women. Designer fashion. A posh California dreamland that really exists. That iconic street is the inspiration behind Lana’s soon-to-debut Fall/Winter 2019 Collection: Rodéo.

Rodéo pays homage to Lana’s forever love affair with California and the decadence of that famous street—a Hollywood icon in its own right. Inspiration struck Lana when she spotted a historic photo of legendary actress Faye Dunaway lounging by the pool of the Beverly Hills Hotel in 1977, the day after winning an Academy Award for her role in Network. Draped in a silk robe and heels with the day’s newspapers strewn at her feet, and her Oscar casually perched on the breakfast table, she appeared nonchalant and unaffected by this epic moment. That jaded brand of glamour exactly personified the Rodéo vibe.

This collection brings to life the aspirational vibe of Rodéo Drive in ultra-luxe, unapologetically rich designs that live at the intersection of Hollywood glamour and California cool. Dripping in high-shine gold, extravagant earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings evoke the chic seduction of the ‘70s done the modern Lana way. Too much is not enough to capture the lavish Rodéo life.

Standout statement pieces include the bold, crinkle-textured Hollywood Hoops and the stunningly delicate Malibu necklace, which creates an effortless, layered illusion. Liquid gold pours on sultry, cinematic shine, while the Rodéo necklace evokes the opulent glamour of the high-fashion houses that line its namesake Beverly Hills street. Other coveted pieces include newly unveiled hair jewelry and gorgeously stacked anklets. Because all starlets should be adorned from head to toe.

The photo shoot for the Rodéo collection was equally epic. Set against the stunning backdrop of Malibu, models clad in silk slip dresses showed legs for days poolside, shining like stars and living a life of luxury in Rodéo. The imagery was subtly inspired by the provocative style of famed fashion photographer Helmut Newton, whose genius work depicted women as being strong, sexy and in control. Newton’s fashion photography heavily influenced Lana growing up.

As we await the official launch of Rodéo, we’ll just keep California dreaming…
